Supporting a new wave of mission

A new wave of missionaries from Latin America, Africa and Asia has been called by God, and these missionaries are now sharing the love of Jesus with the nations. For example, it’s estimated that from Latin America alone there are now over 30,000 messengers of the gospel obeying God’s call on their lives to go all over the world, many of whom are serving in North Africa and the the Middle East, regions home to 389 unreached people groups — among which no strong indigenous community of believing Christians exist — or roughly 278 million people.

Many in this new wave of missions share similarities with those whom they seek to share their lives and Jesus with in these areas. Their values of practicing hospitality, honoring family, enjoying long meals, doing life in community, and esteeming relationships over efficiency provide common ground on which to build relationships.

The problem

Although these workers are so well suited for ministry in these places, opportunities for them to receive the care they need while on the mission field are few and far between.

The solution

Casa Aprisco will be a retreat center to host transformational debriefing and support programs, specifically crated to serve cross-cultural workers who are serving within the least-reached regions of North Africa and the Middle East.
